Philosophy of the O’Connor HS Band Program

The O’Connor High School Band Program is committed to excellence in music, leadership, and personal growth. Through concert band, marching band, jazz, percussion, color guard, and individual performance opportunities, students are challenged to grow as musicians, performers, and leaders.

Beyond the music, our program develops discipline, responsibility, teamwork, perseverance, and pride. We strive to provide meaningful experiences that prepare students for success both on and off the stage while building a lifelong appreciation for music and community.
